One of the most modern golf courses in Europe has been created in the middle of the original Upper Austrian landscape on the south-eastern slope of the Hausruck Forest. Biotopes and ponds have been attractively integrated into the afforested areas of the golf course. The 12th hole is around 600 m long and only 30 m wide at its widest point. Every golfer should have played this hole once in their life. Even the elite club life at the Maria Theresia Golf Club should not deter guests from doing so.
