Golf club and golf course in Mainz / Kirschweiler: The Golfclub Edelstein Hunsrück e.V. was founded in January 1989 and takes its name from the gemstone region around Idar-Oberstein. Initially there was a driving range, then a 3-hole short course. It was not until 5 years later that play began on today's 9-hole course. The annual open golf week is the highlight of the season for members and guests.
