Golf club and golf course in Duisburg / Schermbeck: The golf course, which is located between Wesel, Bocholt and Borken, has a 4-star golf course classification from the Bundesverband Golfanlagen e.v. (German Golf Association). The Weselerwald Golf Club is located on the site of the former Gross Steinbecker Hof, which was entered in the original land register in 1826. The farm buildings were constructed after 1877 and there is a pedigree of the owners of the farm dating back to 1640. The former residential building has been used as a clubhouse since the mid-1990s. The integrated old ceiling beams, the historic wall clock and the unusual 270-degree spiral staircase take visitors back in time.
