Golf club and golf course in Hamburg / Dassendorf: The Golfclub am Sachsenwald e.V., founded in 1985, is located on the southern edge of the Sachsenwald of the same name, which is the largest closed forest area in Schleswig-Holstein at around 70 km². Despite its proximity to the forest, the course is always open, with distant views, predictable fairways, unpredictable roughs and well-designed water hazards.
