Golf club and golf course in Berlin: The Berliner Golfclub Gatow e.V. was founded in 1969 by the British as the British Golf Club Gatow. In 1990, when the Allies left Berlin, the Germans and British founded the current golf club and an 18-hole golf course and a 6-hole short course were created in the immediate vicinity of the center of Berlin.
