Warranty package as a chargeable additional service

(1) Customers have the option of purchasing a chargeable warranty package when buying selected products. This extends the scope of the statutory liability for defects and any manufacturer's warranties to include additional, contractually guaranteed services. The statutory rights of the buyer, in particular under warranty (§§437 ff. BGB), remain unaffected by this.

(2) The guarantor within the meaning of these terms and conditions is exclusively Golfshop 24 GmbH, irrespective of whether the service is provided in whole or in part by third parties (e.g. manufacturers).

(3) Golfshop 24 GmbH grants the following extended warranty periods as part of the warranty package:

  • 6-year warranty on the frame,
  • 3-year warranty on the battery (rechargeable battery), provided that a corresponding rechargeable battery is included in the supplied trolley.

The warranty period begins on the day the goods are delivered to the buyer.

(4) The warranty applies exclusively to private use of the product. Use in a commercial or semi-commercial context (e.g. rental, golf lessons) is excluded from the warranty.

(5) The guarantee covers material and manufacturing defects when used properly. Excluded from the guarantee are in particular damages that are attributable to the following causes

  • normal wear and tear (e.g. tires, handles, bearings),
  • improper or abusive handling,
  • non-observance of operating or safety instructions,
  • use of force (e.g. blows or falls),
  • Attempted repairs by the user or unauthorized third parties,
  • environmental influences such as moisture, heat, frost or corrosion,
  • incorrect storage or charging of the battery, in particular deep discharge, frost,
  • or the use of unauthorized chargers.

(6) In order to make a claim under the warranty, Golfshop 24 GmbH must be enabled to examine the warranty case - for example by sending in the affected goods. The goods must be packed securely for transportation (ideally in the original packaging) in order to avoid transport damage. A copy of the invoice must be enclosed with the shipment. Without this proof of purchase, the warranty service may be rejected. If the name and address of the seller cannot be found on the invoice, these must also be stated.

(7) The claim must be made in text form (e.g. by e-mail), stating the defect, the serial number and the proof of purchase.

(8) In the case of justified warranty claims, the customer shall not incur any shipping costs. Golfshop 24 GmbH will reimburse any shipping costs for the outward shipment. In the case of unauthorized returns (e.g. if there is no warranty claim or the requirements according to paragraphs 4-6 are not met), Golfshop 24 GmbH reserves the right to charge an appropriate processing and return shipping fee.

(9) Golfshop 24 GmbH shall repair products or replace defective parts with new parts at its own discretion. If a repair is not economically justifiable or technically possible, an equivalent product can be supplied as a replacement.

(10) Repairs or replacement deliveries free of charge within the scope of this warranty do not lead to an extension or renewal of the original warranty period.

(11) The warranty package is shown separately in the order process as an additional service subject to a charge and is part of an additional contract to the purchase contract subject to a charge. The price is listed separately and is subject to statutory VAT.

(12) The warranty is non-transferable and applies exclusively to the original purchaser.

(13) The statutory right of withdrawal for consumers also remains unaffected when purchasing the warranty package. The relevant information can be found in our cancellation policy.
